It has been a while since Utah has had a Democrat in Congress. Now Ben McAdams will be Utah’s only Democrat in the new Congress in January. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to vote for McAdams since I don’t live in his district. In order to get elected, McAdams had to defeat Mia Love, who was the incumbent. Yesterday, Love conceded the race to McAdams.
Mia Love’s concession speech was strange. In her speech she accused McAdams of “being a wolf in sheeps clothing”. Love also attacked Donald Trump, who is a member of her own party. Ben McAdams is part of the blue wave that will lead to the downfall of Trump. America is on it’s way to a much brighter future.
